As suggested this concerns first of all the solidarity between the university and those, who have studied here. Moreover it is about the fact that an important period of your life experience was gained here and that you have (hopefully) attained results which qualify you for your chosen occupation, which you hopefully will gladly remember for a long time. And if this applies, perhaps only after a certain dissociation phase, then you will probably remain in contact with your old “Alma Mater”.

The way you experienced your study will then also affect the way members, friends, employees and later business partners inside our UAS see and estimate us. Thus the circle between university and the public closes and is extended at the same time.

You as ALUMNI stand with both legs in life, meaning economics, job, society. After your job training you may train others, perhaps even here at the UAS. You will hopefully progress into a responsible position and represent the reality of the dream you had when you were a student.

You can bring your experiences from practice, by referring us to a new training emphasis, with hints for practical orientation to give constructive criticism. Students and teachers can only gain from this. At the same time we would like to remain a place, which you do not only remember gladly, but which you also return to gladly, for example

• to meetings of the faculties for former students, or to class reunions,
• to further education and practice days,
• to open days,
• to university celebrations, university balls etc.

The UAS will inform you about such activities directly or through the press, and also of course via this Internet site.
