- Detail der strukturierten Schutzverglasung/ Johanneskirche Saalfeld
For the St. Johannes church in Saalfeld, a procedure was developed, with which produces a "mark" from the glass surface of a panel at first. So that the glass painting field is not impaired by this procedure, a particular separation means is used. Under impact of heat, the before produced mark of the original is transferred on a protection glass.
The plastic surface of the protection glass moderates the reflections and the original lying behind it remains visible. The glass painting keeps the formal statement also for the outside construction consequently.
