Staff
The scientific work of the institute is carried out by professional, motivated and creative members of the staff. At this time, these are graduate-geographers, graduate-business-engineers in transport, spatial and landscape planning.
They have broad knowledge and are widely experienced within the institute’s different fields of work. They have already worked as engineering employees or scientific members within universities, as freelancers or salaried workers in planning bureaus, ministries and technical authorities.
Further, skilled student assistants can collect first experiences in the field of applied research and project work by being employed within the institute’s projects. In case of outstanding surveys, interrogations and censuses, the institute can always rely on a pool of students of the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt or other Thuringian Universities, who have already participated in such projects multiple times.
