At the Faculty of Business, Logistics and Transport developed and established a thematically wide-ranging research.
The Research of professorships traffic policy / spatial planning, transport economics as well as traffic system organization was bundled in the
Transport and Spatial Planning Institute of University of Applied Science Erfurt. The institute serves application-specific , multidisciplinary scientific research as well as knowledge transfer into practice in the fields of transport and spatial planning.
For the improvement of the practical teaching and as a basis for an internationally aligned research the Institute for production,
transport, handling and storage was created in the year 2005. Here the professors of mechatronics and material flow systems, road vehicle technology and logistics are represented.
The ISP - Institute for urban Research, Planning and
Communication (ISP) focused the research activities of the professorship planning and communication. These relate in emphasis on issues of urban and regional planning and communicative planning.
