The main tasks of the International Office are to continuously expand the international orientation of our university and to promote mobility both abroad and to Erfurt.
The University of Applied Sciences Erfurt has extensive contacts with universities across the globe. We aim to strengthen these partnerships and bring them to life through regular interaction.
Students at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt have a wide range of opportunities to gain experience abroad through their studies or work placements. At the same time, we also welcome students from other countries. Furthermore, we assist in establishing and maintaining contact between our academics and their international peers.
The International Office provides advice, information and support with regard to international exchange and cooperation at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt. It also offers information and advice to German students at our university who wish to study or do a work placement abroad, as well as to professors who are preparing activities overseas. Maintaining contacts with foreign associates and looking after visiting delegations as well as guest lecturers from abroad are also among the tasks of the International Office.
In addition, the International Office looks after foreign exchange students and helps them with organizational matters as well as other questions and problems that may arise during their stay.
