Scholarships (general)

The selection criteria for awarding scholarships are very varied. In addition to outstanding academic achievements, social aspects and civic engagement can also be decisive factors. Scholarship donors such as churches, political parties, businesses and trade unions provdie the recipients with monthly financial support.

We would like to draw your attention to Elternkompass ("Parents' Compass"), a service offered by the scholarship program Studienkompass (Study Compass).

Elternkompass is a free information and advisory service of the Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft (Foundation of German Business). They can help you navigate the diverse German scholarship landscape, inform you about scholarship opportunities and provide information about application requirements. The scholarship hotline is aimed at parents, high school and university students who are interested in finding out more.
