Admission requirements

Undergraduate degree from a university or cooperative degree program in an economics-related subject with an above-average overall grade (equivalent to German 2.0 or better). For an overall grade between 2.1 and 2.5, in deviation from sentence 2, those who were awarded a grade of 2.0 or better for their undergraduate thesis will be admitted to the selection procedure. If the final thesis was combined with a colloquium, the overall grade from the final thesis and the colloquium shall apply.

In addition, proof of English language skills at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or UniCert II must be provided. Confirmation may be provided by the end of the 3rd semester (lecture period) and is a prerequisite for admission to the final examination.

Admission and Selection Procedure Statutes

Within the restricted admissions procedure, places on the course are allocated according to the following criteria:

  • Average grade of the first university degree - weighted at 80%.
  • Proven professional work experience after graduation from your undergraduate degree - weighted at 20 %.
