Admission requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with above-average grades (average grade equivalent to the German 2 or better)
- Students who pass the special admission requirements in the specialisation examination in the Bachelor's degree programme in Civil Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt with a grade 2 and the Bachelor's examination with at least grade 3 also meet the special admission requirements.
- Graduates who majored in Structural Engineering and Renovation in the Bachelor's program in Civil Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and who fulfil the above-mentioned conditions can only enrol for the Master's program in Structural Engineering.
- Graduates who majored in Construction Operations/Project Management, Transport-Water-Environment and Railway Construction in the Bachelor's program in Civil Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and who fulfil the above-mentioned conditions can only enrol in the Master's in Civil Engineering, Management and Urban Infrastructure.

Special regulations: Applicants who only have 180 credit points can enrol in a so-called bridge semester one semester beforehand. The department determines which modules the student needs to take in the bridge semester. The bridge semester already counts as part of the Master's degree as a preparatory semester. The bridge semester is not intended for graduates with 210 credits. Therefore, they can only be enrolled for the summer semester.
