Admission requirements

  • Overall grade of at least 2.5 in Social Work, Early Childhood Education or a similar subject
  • A minimum of 75 points. The points are made up from the overall grade of your undergraduate degree and the results of a specialist examination.

Admission requirements for the Master's degree

Please submit the relevant supporting documents with your application

For admission to the specialization "Psychosocial Counselling and Intervention", it is also necessary that the applicant has the knowledge required for successful study in the Master's program in the areas listed below:

  • Diagnostic and needs assessment procedures
  • Basics of social law
  • Training in interpersonal communication and counselling (at least 30 hours) and
  • at least 700 hours of practical experience (work placements and/or professional practice in fields of social work).

For admission to the specialization "Counselling in areas of childhood education", it is also necessary that the applicant has the knowledge required for successful study in the Master's program in the areas listed below:

  • Basics of early childhood education
  • Training in interpersonal communication and counselling (at least 30 hours)
  • legal provisions relevant to childhood education and
  • at least 700 hours of practical experience (work placements and/or professional practice in fields of social work).
