Admission requirements
- In accordance with §3(1) of the Academic Regulations and Procedures for the Master's degrees, for admission to the Master's degree program in "Plant Research Management", students require an undergraduate degree from a university or co-operative study program in Horticulture, Forestry, Agriculture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, Biology or a related subject with a completed workload of at least 210 credit points (CP).
- Students are selected according to specific admission requirements, taking into account academic grades, professional experience and additional specialist qualifications.
- If your final grade has not yet been determined at the time of application, your average grade from previous examination results shall be considered accordingly.
- The following are considered to be additional specialist qualifications:
- Continuing education courses, conferences or similar events lasting at least 5 days
- Research or study visits abroad lasting a total of at least four weeks
- Prizes or awards (e.g. Green Challenge - DSG Ideas Competition, Grow Award - Landgard and TASPO Foundation, Klasmann - Deilmann - Award)
- Outstanding scientific achievements in plant research, which must be detailed and endorsed in a letter of recommendation from a university lecturer.
Admission requirements for the Master's degree
Students with fewer than 210 credit points can also apply, but must provide proof of the missing 30 credit points by the time they register for the Master's thesis (in the 3rd semester).
