The main campus at Altonaer Straße 25 is home to the departments of Applied Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Early Childhood Education, Building Services Engineering, Conservation and Restoration, Social Work, Traffic and Transportation and Business Administration. It also houses the central administration with the Student Admissions Office, the Examinations Office, the Student Advisory Service, the University Library, the University Language Centre and the Computer Centre.

The "green" departments of Landscape Architecture, Horticulture and Forestry are located at Leipziger Straße 77. The site is characterized by its park with an extensive collection of trees and perennials, large outdoor laboratory areas and a modern research greenhouse. Of course there are also several lecture halls, seminar rooms and a small refectory on site.

Schlüterstraße 1 is home to Architecture and Urban and Spatial Planning. Around 700 students study here in small seminar groups at their own workstations and receive intensive mentoring from the professors and staff. A model-making workshop, a photo lab and PC and Mac pools ensure that students are given the best training for their future careers.
