Master’s in Building Services Engineering
After three semesters of study, the Master's program in Building Services Engineering leads to the degree Master of Engineering (M.Eng.). The language of instruction is German.
Program objectives
The Master's program in Building Services Engineering builds consecutively on the 7-semester Bachelor's in Building Services Engineering or Industrial Engineering and leads to a second professional qualification in Building Services Engineering. This degree also entitles the holder to pursue doctoral studies.
Graduates of relevant fields of study with a 6-semester Bachelor's degree (180 credits) have the opportunity to acquire the remaining 30 credits in our Bachelor's degree program in the winter semester prior to the Master's program.

Applications and admissions
Entry requirements
The general entry requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Building Services Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management or a comparable degree program with an average grade of at least 2.5 or better. With a degree below 2.5, you must provide evidence that you have specialist qualifications (minimum score 50 points). Furthermore, you have to prove that you earned 210 CP in your undergraduate degree.
When does the program start?
Students enrol in the 3-semester Master's program in the summer semester.

Application period: 01.02.-15.03. of the respective year.

Bridge semester
Applicants from a 6-semester Bachelor's degree (180 CP) can enrol in a so-called 'bridge semester' in the semester prior to their Master's program so that they can earn the remaining 30 credit points. The department head determines which modules need to be taken in the bridge semester. The bridge semester is considered a preparatory semester for the Master's degree and therefore an integral part of the Master's degree.
