Research focus
In order to conduct interdisciplinary and cross-departmental project work and to focus particularly on priority topics at university level, it is necessary to define and decide on research priorities.
Research facilities
For the purpose of focussing on these research priorities and to facilitate interdisciplinary cooperation in research, some faculties have established institutes and a separate research centre.
