Online- translator
The HS-ITZ provides all staff at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences with an online text translation service via the DeepL API.
The service is suitable for the occasional translation of texts.
Restrictions:
- Limited quota per user per month
(currently 20,000 characters, 10 documents),
adjustable on request - Power users should apply for a personalised DeepL account
- Supported languages:

Access is available via any browser, regardless of the operating system:
HS-ITZ TranslatorYou log in using your university account via the central authentication service, Shibboleth.

The data to be translated is transmitted via API to the provider’s servers, where it is processed, and the translated data is then sent back to the browser
The service is not suitable for translating personal or confidential data.
No data is stored.
